So much going on! Jeffers has released a couple of new arrangements, including "Sweet Caroline!" One quick note about this one: the Jeffers version is NOT the same as the 8-Bit Handbell version. The key needed to be transposed in order to make it work for more ensembles. I'm also currently working on a number of commissions (hope you all like 70s/80s rock!), and I have a number of events coming up in the Spring/Summer of 2026. Most exciting is that I will be leading the Indiana All-State Handbell Choir in January!
A final bit of news is that a newly published piece by Brian Seemann, entitled "Superluminal," will be performed at Distinctly Bronze East in 2026. This piece is only available to purchase directly from the 8-Bit Handbell store. Here is a link to the Ministry of Bellz performing this (go to 52:39 if the link does not go there directly).

Handbells are GOLDEN! The hit song from KPOP Demon Hunters is available now for 4-7 octaves! It's a Level 3+ with a few tricky rhythmic bits in the melody, but if you can sing it, you can ring it! Available here!

Pinnacle was fantastic! Enjoyed leading workshops, attending performances showcases, and engaging with everyone. Handbell people truly are the best! The newly released summer 2025 catalog was met with lots of enthusiasm, especially the premieres of "Die With a Smile" during the Pop/Rock Track and "Rasputin" by the Concert Handbells of Concordia University, Irvine. See the list below of the new releases! Also, big news coming soon...
BANG! (AJR)
Defying Gravity (from 'WICKED')
Die With a Smile (Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars)
Happy Together (The Turtles)
Like a Prayer (Madonna)
Rasputin (Boney M)

It's full speed ahead towards Pinnacle in Wichita, KS! We will have a booth as well as run a half showcase of newly-released music. Lot of teaching going on as well, but all in all, will be lots of fun seeing fellow handbell nerds! Be sure to stop by the booth if you are there!
